BATTLE CREEK SAFARIS SHOW REEL
I'll sign any book you like, just ask in the checkout notes. Just like at a convention.
What a week! Year two in Nashville was even more fun than the first year. We figured out where to go after hours to avoid complete deafness and New York City level dinner bills. Now that we have that under control, I'm excited for the next eight years of attending the SCI Convention in Music City.
This week's Featured Outfitter is about as luxurious as it gets on a global scale. Connybear vetted Battle Creek Safaris because, well, he doesn't have the passion for roughing it like I do. From the lodging to the artwork to the terrain to the food it was a spectacular experience. It is very much a contemporary "farm/field to table" operation. The game management plan made perfect sense and had a clear vision. They even had a small army of men removing old fences as quickly as possible.
Speaking of armies: If you have an interest in military history, the area was the setting of many battlefields from 1899 to the 19th Century. It was once part of President Paul Kruger's hunting farm. You'll see many interesting ruins in what is now a tranquil hideaway.
If you take the family on your hunts, require high level security and/or enjoy contemporary luxury, Battle Creek Safaris is a great destination.
Well, I better get back to hunting Coues deer. Thanks for reading.
Good Hunting,
