"I think what sets us apart is the fact that I feel any outfitter can find you good animals, but the memories of a lifetime comes from making every Safari fun for all our clients." J.P Kleinhans
Kiersten Black of Sidney certainly isn’t the only Nebraska teenager to hunt big game this fall. She has, however, harvested an animal in the state that none of the others can claim — a bighorn sheep.
This is kind of fun. JP has a media list. The titles mention his work. Guess what? You'll find a few in Donna's bookstore!
In a few minutes, we'll be heading into Independence, Kansas to visit the Sporting Heritage Center. When I say "we", I mean the hunters I've enjoyed spending the past week with. This hunt just gets better and better each year. Maybe because as I get older I enjoy doing things my way. It's on my farm. I run it with my good friend and great neighbor Chuck. I enjoy new and returning friends. And I have some great chats and laughs.
Speaking of great chats and laughs, that's JP Kleinhans stock and trade. JP is an outfitter with heart. He's also a really fun PH. Beyond that he's smart and I always enjoy a good chat with him around the fire. He was raised in it and it shows. His father was a PH who lost his life at 48 to lions. Until then, as his website states with JP's deadpan humor: "Much to my mother's disapproval, my dad would take us 3 boys on 6 to 8 week Safaris during the 3 week June school holiday."
I hope you, like JP and his father, choose to create a memorable life for and with those you love.
Good hunting,
