SHEEP SHOW THIS MORNING

I've been pigeon holed by many as "Mr. Africa". I appreciate the recognition and consider providing up to date information on hunting Africa and making African hunting more accessible part of my legacy. But each time I'm scrambling to get into shooting position at a ridiculous elevation, I hope people realize how much I LOVE mountain hunting. A few will this morning as I give a talk to the WILD SHEEP Foundation Life Member Breakfast.

If you're a sheep hunter, you're likely semewhat masochistic, a little crazy and highly ambitious. You probably have a few mantras that wouldn't translate well to a corporate motivational poster. Mine are, "Die First Then Quit", "Pain is good. Extreme pain is extremely good" and "You don't have to be crazy...but it really helps". Like all great endeavors; there comes a time when you have to quit thinking and start doing. If you've been thinking about sheep hunting, I hope 2024 is when you switch to doing.
