EUROHUNTS HALL OF FAMER Mr. M.M, VIP Eurohunts Hall of fame, (Florida) in his fourth hunting trip with @eurohunts_spain. In this last hunting adventure, he has enjoyed the mountains of the northwest of Spain, León and Soria provinces. He was able to harvest a Cantabrian chamois (Rupricapra rupricapra parva), with an official score of the trophy SCI 20 6/8. On their route, they made a stop at the ‘Parador Castillo de Benavente, a medieval castle from the 12th century where the union of the kingdoms of Castilla and Leon was signed. ‘The castle, which belongs to the Countess of Benavente, is by far the most magnificent building and the most exquisite example of Moorish and Gothic architecture and is about five hundred years old. ... One of the most admirable objects is its armory: chain mail, horse armor, shields, helmets, crossbows, and weapons of all kinds, carved and inlaid with great art, form the riches of this ancient treasury of heroes. It belongs to the age of knight-tenantry, to a castle once the princely residence of the most renowned warriors of Spain. They also enjoyed Spanish classic water-mouth dishes such as ham croquettes, local baby roast lamb, eggs with black pudding or chorizo sausage and home-made desserts, always marinated with top Spanish wines.

Roe deer hunting offers us the possibility of discovering the beauty of the sunrises and sunsets in those mountains waiting for the desired trophy to appear. They also enjoyed the exquisite gastronomy of the area, based on homemade food, game, mushrooms and local produce, washed down with good Rioja or Ribera wine.
