I would
personally like to welcome you to my new web site, CRAIGBODDINGTON.COM.
During my lifetime, I have been blessed to turn my passions of shooting and
hunting into a career as an outdoor communicator. During this time, I have
had 20 books and over 3000 magazine features published in an attempt to
share my adventures, memories and observations on the great sports of
shooting and hunting.
The goal of every outdoor writer
is to develop a loyal readership, and to every person who has ever bought
one of my books, read one of my articles, purchased one of my videos or
attended one of my seminars, I am extremely grateful for your support.
Often
in my travels I am
asked about where to purchase a particular book, what new projects am I
working on, or if a particular book is going to be reprinted. All good
questions… but sometimes difficult to answer. Hopefully, this web site
will help answer all of these questions and provide my readers with some
added perks when they purchase books, video and DVD's from me directly.
Outside of a personal appearance or seminar, my new web site is the only
place where you can purchase a signed copy of one of my books!
Many serious book collectors value a signed copy by the author.
If you would like to order a personally signed book, please be patient as I
am often out of the office for a few weeks at a time. I will however make it
a priority to sign and ship your book to you immediately upon my return.
I invite you to use the
"Tell A Friend"
and
"Add To Favorites List" features to let all your
hunting friends and acquaintances know about CraigBoddington.com. Remember to
visit often so that we may keep you up to date on the new book
releases, videos and my personal appearance schedule. I once again would
like to thank you for your
support. |

WITH IVAN CARTER
(PRODUCED BY SAFARI CLASSICS PRODUCTIONS 2008)
Perhaps no other big game animal on earth combines the romance, adventure and element of danger as does the African elephant. And now my partners at Safari Classics Productions and I are proud to announce the release of our most exciting and comprehensive film to date, BODDINGTON ON ELEPHANT WITH IVAN CARTER.
Please click on the image for a free preview. This movie requires the quicktime plugin.
BODDINGTON ON ELEPHANT is a project that has been many years in the making. During that time, our film crews have followed the ivory trail while capturing the thrill of the modern day elephant hunt. This adventure has taken us to all of the premier elephant hunting destinations including Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Namibia and more.
BODDINGTON ON ELEPHANT is unique in that it is actually 2 separate presentations within the same film. This first disc is a hunting movie, highlighting the drama and excitement that hunting this magnificent animal will produce. The ivory trail will take you across Africa in pursuit of adventure, and you will enjoy some of the most dramatic hunting footage ever captured!
The second disc is what we call…the ELEPHANT ESSENTIALS. Here we will present a diverse range of topics, that combined, will assure you get the most out of your elephant hunting experience. These topics include:
• WHY HUNT ELEPHANT
• THE GOLDEN AGE OF ELEPHANT HUNTING
• ELEPHANT CONSERVATION
• GUNS AND LOADS FOR ELEPHANT
• SHOT PLACEMENT
• PREPARING FOR THE IVORY TRAIL
• ELEPHANT BIOLOGY AND HERD DYNAMICS
• ELEPHANT COUNTRY TODAY
• THE ART OF TRACKING ELEPHANT
• ELEPHANT BEHAVIOR
• TROPHY ASSESSMENT
• TAXIDERMY
We will present these elephant essentials to you in a unique format, designed to be viewed at your own pace. Each segment is highlighted on a main menu, which will allow you to select a specific topic for viewing.
The art of elephant hunting is a subject that goes way beyond what you or I as a client could only hope to master…. This is truly the domain of the professional hunter. This film will introduce you to professional hunter Ivan Carter, one of today’s most experienced and passionate elephant experts. As you will see in this production, as a result of his almost encyclopedic knowledge on elephant, Ivan has developed a very unique style of hunting.
Whether you have hunted elephant, plan to hunt elephant in the future, or are a safari enthusiast who enjoys the adventure of African hunting, BODDINGTON ON ELEPHANT WITH IVAN CARTER is sure to be one of the most treasured titles in your DVD collection.

TRACKS ACROSS
AFRICA . . . Another Ten Years -
Trade Edition
(Safari Press, November 2008)
Twenty years
ago I chronicled my first decade of African hunting with From Mount Kenya to
the Cape. I followed up ten years later with Where Lions Roar, but in my
mind that didn't mean I was making a habit of "ten year African books." In
fact, in 1997 I would have bet that this book, Tracks Across Africa, would
never exist. I would have been wrong. Thanks to our television series of
the same name--and a thirst for Africa that, somehow, has never been
slaked--time spent in Africa has continued to escalate, and has been just as
much fun as it was thirty years ago! Except that, back then, I didn't know
what I didn't know. I'm still learning, and will continue to learn, but
today I am able to look at things based on thirty years' experience and more
than seventy African hunts. While I'll never say "never," I do not predict
that I will write another "ten year African book." I can say that this is
my best (and biggest) African book, and I hope you'll join me as I relive
hunts in far-flung places like Cameroon, C.A.R., Chad, and Ethiopia; classic
destinations like Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique; and of course, today's
most popular safari countries, South Africa and Namibia. Trade Edition, in slipcase 326 pages, illustrated in color and black and
white.

Leopard

By Craig Boddington, Tim
Danklef, Dave Fulson
(Mission
Trails Media, March 2007)
In all my years of African hunting, no other species has provided more highs
and lows than my pursuit of the African leopard, the most beautiful and
possibly the most challenging member of the Big Five. Our new book
Leopard is a joint collaboration with my partners Tim Danklef & Dave
Fulson (producers of my Boddington On Leopard DVD) and is, without a doubt,
the most in depth study on the history and hunting of this magnificent cat
ever produced. After a great deal of
thought and consideration, we have decided to offer Leopard only in
this one time signed, and limited edition printing. Leopard will NEVER
be reprinted neither in another limited edition nor trade edition,
guaranteeing this book will become an instant collectors item. Limited to
1250 copies only, numbered and signed by all three authors.
Leopard:
200 pages with over 150 color photographs, large format, embossed cover.
This book features a custom presentation box including a fronts piece of
renowned artist Guy Coheleach’s “Tree Stand.”
