Glacial Valley Hunting offers free range guided hunts on over 10,000 acres of land. The Glacial Valley itself is the longest of its kind in the British Isles. It is privately owned ground that is surrounded by the Wicklow Mountains National Park, in the Glenmalure Valley, of Ireland. They offer guided hunts for Japanese Sika Deer, Mountain Red Deer, Ibex, Hybrid Deer, Foxes, Rabbits and various species of Rams. Glacial Valley Hunting is one of the only places in the world you can find a hybrid sika/red deer, and they also have hybrid goat/ibex to hunt. The hunting season for Stags runs from September 1st thru December 31st and Hinds from November 1st thru February 28th. Since there is no tag system there are great opportunities for multiple animal hunts.
Owner, Jim Nolan was born and reared in Glenmalure. He has hunted and managed this area for over 30 years. His father managed the area before him and today, he manages it with his son Jamie. The open mountain area that they own has been in the family since the early 1800's. Glacial Valley Hunting is the sole recipient of the hunting rights for over 9,000 acres of free range hunting, this includes the property that is leased. There are no high fences. There are no other outfitters allowed in his area. They have welcomed hunters from around the world, for decades. Rest assured you may come as a client, but you will leave as a friend.

8. They provide a variety of packages for hunts, with 3 to 4-day hunts being the most popular.
